HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Good news, anyone can become a member! All that is required to become a member at KGL is to be a cardholder at any Katahdin Region library. Just bring your card in at the time of your first rental at KGL. Membership good for 1 year.

Membership gets you and a friend one night of FREE gear rental each time you rent, as well as 50% off of the prices listed below.

NOT INTERESTED IN MEMBERSHIP?

That’s ok too! We are happy to rent our gear at the full costs listed below.

Supporting the Katahdin Gear Library comes in many forms. It is becoming a member, getting your first library card, attending our programs, sharing our story, or spending money in rentals or retail.

All proceeds go directly back into maintaining our gear, keeping our shop open, and continuing to provide youth outdoor opportunities all over the region.
