Meet the Candidates

Join us on October 16th from 6-8pm for our annual “Meet the Candidates” event where you can get to know the candidates for the Millinocket School Board and Town Council and their stance on key issues. If you can’t make it in person, there will be an option to join via Zoom and we will share a recording of the event on YouTube shortly afterwards. VOTING FAQS

The next election is on November 5th, 2024. Polls are open from 8am to 8pm.
Visit the Millinocket Town Office (197 Penobscot Ave) during their hours of operation (Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00) or register at your voting location, and bring:
  • Proof of identity: driver’s license or passport
  • Proof of residency: driver’s license or passport (if correct address is on it) OR current utility bill or bank statement with name and current address.
The in-person voting location for the Town of Millinocket is in the gym of Stearns High School, at 199 State Street. Polls are open from 8am to 8pm.
You can skip the polls and request an absentee ballot online here or visit the Millinocket Town Office to request one in person. For the November 7th election, absentee ballots must be requested by November 2nd and can be returned until November 7th at 8pm to the Absentee Ballot Drop box outside the Millinocket Town Office.
