The Children’s Story Time is held on Wednesday mornings starting at 10:00 am in the Children’s Room. Each week we will read a couple of theme-related stories followed by a small craft project generally related to the stories.
There will also be a short play-time following the craft; children of all ages are welcome. Join us at the Millinocket Memorial Library Children’s Room for our weekly Children’s Story Time!
The Parent & Child Social Time is for dads, moms, caregivers, and kids – all ages welcome!
Join us at Millinocket Memorial Library in the Children’s Room for this weekly social hour for parents and children to get to know each other, hang out, play games, and have fun! There will be toys and books for the kids to play with while everyone makes new friends!
The Parent & Child Social is free and open to the public.
Friends of Millinocket Memorial Library Meeting
The Friends of the Library hold their monthly meeting the second Monday of each month. Meetings begin at 4:00 pm in the Community Room downstairs; all are welcome.
Monthly meetings include discussions on how we can help promote the use and awareness of our community library. Friends of Millinocket Library help organize book and bake sales, raffles, plant sales and sell our Friends cookbook at various events and activities throughout the year.
The need for a strong library is greater than ever, particularly with the financial challenges facing libraries nationwide. As a small community, it’s even more important we create an awareness of our Library services and seek to increase Friends membership.
