As of September 19th, the Library’s elevator modernization project is officially complete, and the elevator is back in service a couple of weeks ahead of schedule!

Thank you for your patience and cooperation over the past couple of weeks. We are confident that these important upgrades will ensure that our elevator can continue to safely and reliably serve the community for years to come. 

This elevator modernization project was made possible by funding from the FY24 Agriculture Appropriations Bill sponsored by Senator Angus King and Senator Susan Collins. Additional funding for the project derives from a grant from the American Library Association’s “Libraries Transforming Communities” grant.
