The Friends of the Library hold their monthly meeting the second Monday of each month. Meetings begin at 4:00 pm in the Community Room downstairs; all are welcome.
Monthly meetings include discussions on how we can help promote the use and awareness of our community library. Friends of Millinocket Library help organize book and bake sales, raffles, plant sales and sell our Friends cookbook at various events and activities throughout the year.
The need for a strong library is greater than ever, particularly with the financial challenges facing libraries nationwide. As a small community, it’s even more important we create an awareness of our Library services and seek to increase Friends membership.

With the holidays quickly approaching come join Dani Modery and her helpers, Kaela Modery and Miranda Kelly, to have a fun evening learning how to make your own cards! Also, create a bookmark for your favorite reading material this winter!
Come join us at the library for a workshop on basic introduction to quilting. Learn how to use several quilting tools, together with a demonstration on quilting procedures. Judy will also show her own quilting projects.
