Teen Movie Night: “Ready Player One”

Summary: “Hiccup is a Norse teenager from the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. His progressive views and weird sense of humor make him a misfit, despite the fact that his father is chief of the clan. Tossed into dragon-fighting school, he endeavors to prove himself as a true Viking, but when he befriends an injured dragon he names Toothless, he has the chance to plot a new course for his people’s future.” Rated PG.
An Evening of Fiddle Music with Gus LaCasse
Millinocket native Gus LaCasse will return home for an evening of music at the library. His repertoire reflects his innovative spirit and dedication to the Cape Breton and Acadian fiddle traditions, playing both standards of the genre and his original material.
Refreshments will be provided. Appropriate for all ages.

Learn how to find information on your family history and heritage. Librarian Julie Buhler will walk you through free, resources like “Find a Grave”, Ancestry.com, and more.
Bring names, places of birth, and birthdates of relatives, if you have them. Appropriate for ages 13 and up. Coffee and tea will be available.
